The Dutch company Master Blenders generates just six percent. His father already owned a coffee farm in Narino, where he learned the craft from the ground up as a teenager. He himself began picking coffee on his own farm in Narino to pay for his own school uniform! When &quot;specialty coffee&quot; gained a foothold in Colombia, the local community organized a Q Grader Tasting Competition. He is the proud winner of the first Catador Competition in Colombia!<\/p>\n<p>From cultivation to soil sampling to monitoring at the Beneficio, Wbeimar Lasso oversees the entire processing process. He teaches and educates over 400 local farmers who are members of the TERRACOFFEE association.<\/p>\n<p>He also roasts his own coffee and has launched his own line at the local market in Paitalito Huila. So, he&#039;s a picker, producer, teacher, Q grader, roaster, great cook, and sensory master! Respect!<\/p>\n<p>His wife also works in the business and supports him in projects related to sustainability and quality management.
